About the Department of Biological Sciences, Machakos University
The biological sciences department is one of the three departments in the school of pure and applied sciences. Our core mandate is to provide holistic quality training to our students to equip them with knowledge and skills necessary to handle emerging issues in our society as a whole and for industry. The knowledge gained through scientific approaches will enable them to make informed judgements when dealing with emerging societal issues .
